I am Chef Matthew Barton Mattox, an internationally trained hospitality professional. My concept was born in the Sonoran Desert stronghold of Scottsdale, Arizona. I studied and applied French culinary arts. I lived, trained, and apprenticed hotel management in the Swiss Alps. I lived on the Italian Amalfi Coast and performed European service standards. The specialized training of my craft enables me to take your concept, and from scratch by hand, create fresh nutritional food with vegetarian and plant-based options creating a wonderful and memorable dining experience. This is performed in our NM State approved food facility in historic downtown Las Cruces.
The Sonoran Faire Culinaire (SfC) food facility has a state approved Food Retail Permit - Catering Operation. We perform off-premise catering. We cater fresh nutritional food for film productions, corporate events, weddings, promotional lunches, etc. We offer private chef services. We design and administer cooking classes to all age groups. We recently partnered with Encantado Edibles and the SfC food facility has been granted a Cannabis Manufacterer Class III license by the State of New Mexico. We are developing a downtown sandwich delivery program and a mobile food cart called The Chef's Cart.
We are a one-stop shop from menu design to successful execution of your special meal including set-up and clean-up. Our professional, custom and timely response to your individual needs is what makes us best in class.
